The Hotel Imperial is a 69-room property situated in the heart of Cullera. The hotel consists of two wings; a 2-star and a 3-star. Cullera is an ancient Spanish town with a storied history and is located between the Júcar river and the Munt de l’Or, the last mountain in the Iberian system before the Mediterranean sea. Cullera is home to an old Moorish fortress built in the 13th century to secure the area, the Church of Saint Johns erected in the 17th century over an older Gothic temple and the Torre de Marenyet, an old watchtower built to guard the Júcar river in the 15th century as a defense against pirates. The Hotel Imperial is centrally located on the Plaza of José Mongrell, named after the renowned Spanish painter,a five minute walk from the award-winning beach of San Antonio and with stunning views of the ancient castle of Cullera. Very close to a big supermarket and many restaurants and bars and is opposite the bus stop which has a quick connection to the train station.
