The charming Country Resort Cortijo Balzaín is situated in the Sierra Nevada National Park (Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO), in the heart of the mountains and at just 8 km from Granada city, 30 km. to the ski resort and 45 km. to the beaches of the Costa Tropical. This Cortijo from XVII century, has been restored acting with the greatest respect to the rustic elements of its former structure, enhancing the character and beauty of these houses. The cottages are very cozy and comfortable and their names evoke its former uses: the stable, the corral, the barn, the shed...
