In 1999, the Jean Vier group -specialist manufacturer of Basque linen and table ware- created the “Ecomusée Basque” situated on the outskirts of Saint-Jean de Luz on a beautiful 19th century farm. The “Ecomusée Basque” provides you with a unique window into the Basque traditions and values: a voyage through the ages featuring traditional Basque exhibits, games, methods and crafts, and also many regional products and delicacies, such as the legendary Izarra Basque liquor.
