EGIATEGIA is the pioneer of subsea winemaking since 2007. A doubly patented method and unique in the world. After a first vinification on land, our wines will naturally and deeply experience a second alcoholic fermentation in very specific physical conditions. Our underwater fermentation tanks are submerged for several months at a depth of 15 meters in the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Our wines produced in this way are slightly sparkling and have unique aromas. Located in the former Maison des Blocs, our land-based cellar faces the bay and overlooks Socoa beach. The cellar and the shop are open to public. Visits and tastings only on demand !
