About
The Palace responds to the typology of Jerez bourgeois houses of the second half of the 18th century. Prototype of the great houses built by the aristocracy and the bourgeoisie winemakers established in the city. With a quadrangular floor plan, it is structured by a large central courtyard of Italian marble, and a three-story facade with majestic balconies that give way to one of the best views of Jerez. Its architects were Juan Díaz de la Guerra, the Sevillian Antonio Matías de Figueroa and Pedro de Cos, authors of numerous renowned works in Jerez and Andalusia. Paintings, tapestries, sculptures and noble materials brought specifically from Italy, Flanders and France, frame a unique and exceptional artistic and cultural ensemble.
