A journey through the HISTORY OF RUM.During the Arehucas Guided Tour visitors can enjoy the facilities of our distillery, full of history, tradition and work well done. Besides explaining the process of making our rums the tour allows us to visit one of the oldest rum cellars in Europe, made up of 4,308 american oak barrels. This tour through the history of rum in the Canary Islands takes 50 minutes and consists of 5 stages: Origin of Arehucas; visit to the cellar where the ageing process is carried out; learning about the rum processing and visit to the mill and the fermentation and distillation rooms. Visit to the bottling plant and tasting of some of our wide variety of rums and liqueurs. At the end of the visit, you can purchase the Destilerias Arehucas products.
