The Poema del Mar aquarium, a crown jewel of the Canary Islands, is located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Open 365 days a year from 09:30 to 17:30, the venue offers visitors an immersive journey across three meticulously curated marine environments – the Jungle, Tropical and Deep Ocean zones. Each zone brings the wonders of the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific oceans to life, featuring more than 400 animal species, over 2 000 plant specimens and a world‑record 36 m long curving acrylic window that lets light pour into the world‑largest saltwater tank.
