I have pleasure in sending you the proposal for the Riojas from Bodegas Paco Garcia, one of the most vibrant and exciting new wineries to emerge in the past few years. This young husband and wife team of Juan Bautista and Ana Fernandez Bengoa took over their parent's old winery in Murillo de Rio Leza in 2008 and completely modernised it throughout, and the changes made were immediately obvious from the very first wines they produced. Combined with their strikingly unconventional labels, Paco's wines are immediately recognisable on wine shelves and restaurant lists.
