Eguren Ugarte is a 140‑year‑old, family‑owned winery nestled in the medieval walled village of Laguardia, in the Rioja Alavesa region of the Basque Country, northern Spain. Founded in 1870 by Anastasio Eguren, the estate boasts about 2,000 metres of wine‑cellar caves and cultivates roughly thirty grape varieties, offering a rich palette of wines that reflect the terroir of the Basque hills.
