About
Casa de Campo is the largest public park in Madrid, covering 1,722.6 hectares (4,257 acres). Originally a royal hunting estate, it opened to the public in 1931 and now offers a blend of pine forests, wetlands, an artificial lake, the amusement park Parque de Atracciones de Madrid, the Madrid Zoo, and the Teleférico de Madrid cable‑car to Parque del Oeste. Visitors can stroll along winding trails, row boats on the lake, explore historic structures, or simply relax amidst nature.
