La Casa del Abuelo is one of the Tapas Bars that you can't miss if you visit Madrid. This house is more than 100 years old and it's one of the most representative Taverns in Madrid. Specialities are shrimps in all of its varieties: grilled, with coarse salt and looking for the prefect cooking point and garlic shrimps, served in our terracotta casseroles with virgin olive oil, garlic and parsley. The tradition is to eat the shrimps with the red sweet wine "El Abuelo" that made this house famous. Today everything is served the same way than 100 years ago!
