About
Wander Benalmadena’s winding cobbled streets, with its groves, white-washed houses, and traditional architecture. Start the day at central Plaza de Espana, browsing local crafts and sampling tapas and wine as you go. There’s a lift handy for commuting between the lower and upper levels. Visit the church and Buddhist temple, and don’t miss El Muro Gardens, where you can take in the panoramic views of the village and the surrounding area. Benalmadena comes alive during festivals and cultural events held throughout the year, and they are a great way to experience the village. If you’re not one for crowds, visit in the spring or autumn. – Tripadvisor
