About

A few metres from the Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave) is the La Victoria cave, an area of high historical value, as for thousands of years it has been a place where ancient inhabitants have lived together and where different cultures have passed through. The Cueva de la Victoria was a busy burial site during the Neolithic period. Some 13.000 years ago, the silhouettes of several individuals were captured in one of its galleries. Each of them is positioned differently in front of the other, representing the living, as the remains of those who died were placed in the centre of that gallery. Before you take out your tickets, remember. It is an activity typified as Active Speleological Tourism. And, therefore, it is required to be over ten years old and under seventy, also not have any mobility problem, or claustrophobia, as well as doing the tour with mountain or trekking shoes. If you meet all the requirements, do not forget to wear very comfortable clothes.
