The 'Arenal Playa' apartments (refurbished in 2010) are located in Arenal D'en Castell, some 300 metres from one of the Island's best beaches with clear waters and fine sand, in a quiet part of the north of Menorca. The comfortable complex is made up of 12 different types of accommodation, built in a way it gives the feel of a little village, surrounded by gardens with a swimming pool in the middle and a separate pool for children. Each apartment is unique and different, either with one, two, three bedrooms, some ground floor, some first floor and others duplex style, as well as a ground floor, three bedroomed individual villa with private terrace and garden, adjacent to the apartments and with direct access to the communal pool and gardens. All the apartments come well equipped with bed linen and towels, television, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board, fan, plus each apartment has its own private terrace with sun loungers. ARENAL D'EN CASTELL Arenal D'en Castell is one of the most beautiful developments along the north coast of the Island. The beach is shaped like a shell, some 650m long and 20m wide, with shallow crystal clear waters and amenities close by. There is a wide range of things to do on offer, making it a popular resort for both the younger holiday makers as well as for families. Close by you can visit the small but charming beach at Na Macaret, or the spectacular natural port at Addaya with its marina. In the surrounding area you can visit the beautiful fishing village of Fornells. This traditional village has become a point of reference thanks to its restaurants offering freshly caught fish and shellfish. You can also practise a wide range of water sports in the sheltered waters of its bay.
