To respect the land and the sea is to understand Menorca. Understanding the environment, knowing how to make the most of the resources it offers us, and caring for it to keep it alive. Over the centuries, the rural and maritime landscape of Menorca has been shaped by this slow and unhurried way of doing things. An environment of which we form part and to which we have wanted to pay tribute at Sa Tanca. Our gastronomic proposal is nourished by Mediterranean flavours and owes its name to the old tanques, small plots of land into which a farm was divided, in order to favour crop rotation and avoid exhausting the most valuable thing, the land to which we belong. This loyalty to the island and its traditions is the challenge and balance we seek in our cuisine, and which we hope to achieve through the aromas and flavours of each of our dishes. Enjoy!
