The Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró in Mallorca is a contemporary museum dedicated to the extraordinary work of Spanish artist Joan Miró. Situated in Palma de Mallorca, the foundation comprises three distinct buildings – the avant‑garde Moneo Building, the historic Sert workshop, and the charming Son Boter villa – each showcasing different phases of Miró’s creative journey. Visitors can explore more than 6,000 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and murals, as well as Miró’s former studios and a vast decorative collection. The museum’s architecture, designed by Rafael Moneo and Josep Lluís Sert, offers an inspiring backdrop to the colorful, surrealist pieces on display.
