About

Welcome to Camping Alba de Tormes. It is located twenty minutes away from Salamanca (one of the most important cultural capitals in Europe) and in one of the most pleasant natural settings in the country. Our campsite is familiar, small and cozy. You will find us next to the banks of the Tormes river. We have the accommodation for you. We have a large free camping area for those who wish to stay with a tent in a common area without a vehicle. This area is located at the bottom of the campsite, offering greater privacy with respect to its exterior and facilitating coexistence between campers. You can also enjoy a private pitch for your vehicle, caravan or van with a minimum of 55m2 per plot and surrounded by poplars. We have pitches without electricity or with an European electrical outlet (220 V; 6 amps). If you prefer the comfort of Glamping, we have furnished Yurt tents where you can stay with all the comforts in the middle of nature. We have a restaurant/café with free access for campers and visitors. The cozy atmosphere of its terrace will allow you to enjoy a refreshing drink and savor our tapas and dishes while getting some fresh air. Enjoy our roast chickens. We provide takeaway service. Our camping has more than 10,000m2. We have a differentiated bathroom for people with reduced mobility. Hot and cold water 24 hours. Gray/black water discharge. Free WIFi in the reception and restaurant areas. Credit card payment available. Online booking available (through the website). Pets are admitted free of charge, except breeds classified as dangerous. Hospitality is our main goal. We have a crew willing to facilitate a quality stay and to solve any problem that may arise during it. We want you to feel at home, or even better! Next to the vicinity of the campsite you will find La Dehesa beach, a fluvial enclave on the banks of Tormes river. It is a garden area with trees and grass, umbrellas, picnic areas, public barbecues (sometimes they are closed) and a bar. In Alba de Tormes is the Carmelite Mothers of the Annunciation’s Convent, where Santa Teresa de Jesús’ tomb is located (a well-known mystic and poetic figure in literature). Furthermore, it counts with important monuments such as t Santa Teresa ‘s Basilica and Dukes of Alba’s Castle. Alba de Tormes is included in the route through the charming towns of Salamanca, being the starting point. The shortest route to get there from Salamanca is through the CL-50. Once you get to Alba de Tormes, to get to the campsite you must turn right once you have crossed the bridge, bordering the river, until you reach the campsite.
