About
The area where the restaurant is situated used to be a monastry. It has other restaurants and short walks through the grounds. There is a fantastic view from the arched shaped windows in the ground level restaurant across the to sea. There is a banana plantation just below the restaurant. There is a beautiful peaceful garden area with duck pond, goldfish and creatures such as peacocks, rabbits and a pony. The ambience is one to cherish and the food very reasonably priced. You can wander about the grounds and see the new use of the old monastery. It is a must place to visit if you stay in Puerta de La Cruz. It cost about 8 euros to get there from the main resort area.
