La Caseta de Bombas is a historic waterfront landmark that has been lovingly transformed into a seafront restaurant, grill and small museum. Facing the striking plume of the Dique de Gamazo, the venue offers an elegant selection of Iberian and Cantabrian cuisine – fresh fish from the Santander fish market, local rice dishes, and a range of rotisserie meats. Below the old bomb houses guests can tour the Sala de Bombas, where original canning machinery and a gallery of historic photographs chronicle the port’s heritage. Open daily from noon until midnight (with a brief closing from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays), the Caseta welcomes families, couples, food lovers and anyone eager to enjoy a relaxed meal with sweeping sea views.
