While converting this 1930's granary into a Casa Rural (Bed & Breakfast), we maintained the old charm of the original building but focused on comfort where we had to start from scratch: en-suite rooms with music, hydromassage showers and direct access to the garden terrace, a large garden with a spa and onsite restaurant. The perfect place to get to know the area or just relax. We are near La Laguna de Sarinena for birdwatching, the Jubierre for hiking in a unique landscape, Lagabarda Adventure Park, the Somontano and its wine country, the Sierra Guara, Huesca and the Pyrenees. We are on hand to orient, recommend and pamper you. Lastanosa is located en the north of the Monegros, famous in Spain for being an arid and infertile desert. Fortunately, since irrigation canals were built in the 1970's, Lastanosa is surrounded by fields which turn from wheat to sunflowers to corn. Lastanosa is at the end of the road, with no passing traffic. It has about 20 permanent residents, swelling to roughly 100 in summer. There are no shops or bars. It's the perfect place to relax and see what rural living in Spain is like. We opened Los Chicos de Lastanosa to share our love for the region and to create a beautiful space to enjoy with others. We are proud of the quality of the services and products we provide. Rental is by room and includes breakfast and daily cleaning. Dinners can be arranged as well.
