Isla Magica
About
Isla Mágica is a vibrant theme park located on Seville’s Isla de la Cartuja, originally developed for the Expo ’92 Universal Exhibition. It opened to the public on 28 June 1997 and today spans 36 hectares, offering six themed land areas ranging from natural forests to space stations. A highlight is the Agua Mágica water park, which burst onto the scene in 2014 and adds a splash of additional adventure with wave pools, lazy rivers, and dramatic rapids. The park's signature roller coaster, Jaguar, is Spain’s first inverted ride and remains a top attraction for thrill‑seeking families. Other favorites include the high‑speed splash ride Iguazú, the gentle river rapids of Orinoco, and the immersive 4‑D cinema Dimensión 4. Throughout the park, guests can enjoy live shows, interactive exhibits, and seasonal events that showcase the region’s rich culture and natural wonders. Visitors typically spend about three hours wandering through the themed sections and paddling in the water park, making Isla Mágica an ideal daytime excursion for locals and tourists alike. The park’s accessibility and friendly staff make it a welcoming spot for visitors of all ages, from families with young children to adventure seekers looking to test their limits.
