Palouet is a small village in the municipality of Massoteres. Cal Xuriguera, from 1601, is in the center of the twenty houses that from the village. The house is the ancestral home of Magi Soriguera's descendants, who acquired it in 1616. The house was completely renovated for over five years, retaining the charm of the stone walls and original features of the house such as the press or the cellar. In November 2009 was re-inaugurated as a hotel and a restaurant. The two upper floors are dedicated to the Hotel. It has 15 double rooms with bath, underfloor heating, single air-conditioning heat pump, TV and safe. The accommodation gives the right to use the hostel's kitchen and its storeroom, where breakfast is served. Included in the room rate. Also in the pantry you will find snacks, sweets and beverages for consumption (surcharge). It has two terraces and four comfortable living rooms, two of which have fireplace. Guests can enjoy without any extra cost of the pleasure of the heated pool, enjoying the benefits of a relaxing sauna or the sun in the solarium. The main floor of the house is dedicated to the restaurant, traditional Catalan cuisine with a touch of originality and imagination. The quality of products, its careful presentation and good prices are the main distinguishing features. It offers a daily menu and weekend, as well as a la carte menu. It has three rooms, seating from 12 to 180 people, with a combined capacity of approximately 225 people. Ideal for all types of family celebrations and private, as well as any type of event, business meeting or convention.
