Marina Rubicon
About
Marina Rubicón is a modern marina situated in the heart of Playa Blanca, a popular resort town on Lanzarote’s southern coast. From its opening in 2003 the harbour has grown into a world‑class centre for sailing, water sports and leisure, offering 550 berths with a finger system for single‑hull boats up to 50 m, a large docking area for 90 m vessels, and an extensive courtesy dinghy dock. The marina’s Varadero provides high‑quality maintenance and repair services – from hoisting to painting – and a secure storage area for equipment. Adjacent to the calm marina is the village that hosts an array of restaurants, bars, shops and a market that runs every Wednesday and Saturday. For divers and snorkelers the nearby Atlantic Museum stands as a unique underwater exhibit, filled with life‑size sculptures that attract marine life and offer a fascinating artistic experience. Whether you are a seasoned sailor, a family looking for a sunny getaway, or a solo traveller eager to explore Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes, Marina Rubicón serves as a gateway to the island’s golden beaches, volcanic keyholes and tranquil warm waters.
