Casa del Labrador
About
Casa del Labrador is a neoclassical palace located in the historic town of Aranjuez, within the Community of Madrid. Built for King Charles IV and completed in 1803, the palace was designed by Juan de Villanueva and later embellished by artists such as Jean‑Démosthène Dugourc and Zacarías González Velázquez. Set amidst the expansive gardens of the Jardín del Príncipe, the property offers visitors a blend of royal elegance and botanical splendour. While the gardens are freely accessible, entering the palace itself requires a modest admission fee. The site has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration, reopening to the public in October 2025 after being closed for several years.
