Albufera (from arabic al-buhayra, "the small sea") is one of the most important wetlands in the world, and was declared Nature Reserve in 1986. Its native flora and fauna astonish everybody who visits it. There are around 21,000 hectares for you to enjoy, 2,837 of them are a lake. Our pier became in 1977 the scene of one of our famous television series, Canas y Barro. Here mix the beauty of the landscape and the familiar treatment we offer you so that you can feel in the paradise. Our boats are motorized, with a freight of until 30 people. Thanks to the sunshades which they are equipped with and to the gentle breeze of the lake, the hot summer it is not an obstacle to be delighted with the environment. Enjoy our trips, guided by native speakers of the place, who will relate to you the wonderful story of an enclave of the environmental sustainability. Take delight in the migratory birds which visit us in winter. Let us discover paradise for you! It lies at only 10 kilometres to the south of Valencia. It open from June to September all days.
