About
The Botanic Garden is located next to the famous Cave of Nerja at approximately 150m above the sea level. It showcase a very local variety of the flora and vegetation of the Malacitano-Almijarense biogeographic sector. In Andalusia, this area has a large diversity of species and ecologies, many of them rare and endemic. As a consequence, many species are endangered and protected by law.
