Casa Solla
About
Casa Solla, founded in 1961 by José and Amelia Solla, has evolved into one of Galicia’s most respected fine‑dining venues while staying true to its roots in simple, high‑quality Galician cuisine. Nestled in the heart of San Salvador de Poio, the restaurant offers a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere where every dish reflects the region’s abundant seafood, fresh produce and local traditions. The menu changes seasonally, featuring flagship courses such as Trasmallo (sea‑food, fish and garden) and PioBardeira, priced at €155 and €172 per person respectively, along with an extensive wine selection from a curated cellar of more than 7,000 bottles. A unique bar, La Taberna, runs from noon until the evening, specialising in wine tastings with never‑before‑seen pairings that complement the food. The restaurant also provides gluten‑free, vegetarian and high‑profile tasting menus, and all meals come with a generous 10% VAT included. Because of limited capacity, evening reservations are strongly recommended, though the venue remains open for walk‑ins during lunch hours. Casa Solla’s service is characterised by attentive, knowledgeable staff who create a warm, welcoming environment where guests feel at home. The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible, offers free Wi‑Fi and accepts all major credit cards. Visiting Casa Solla is a culinary experience that showcases the best of Galician culinary heritage and sophisticated Spanish hospitality.
