Pousada de Valenca do Minho, São Teotonio
About
The Pousada de Valenca opened in 1962, a project by architect Joao de Mello Breyner Andresen. This Pousada embraces the Vale do Rio Minho from the green Portuguese banks to the Galician progress which involves the Tui cathedral. Situated on the frontier with Spain on top of the historical centre and the fortified Valenca, the Pousada of Sao Teotonio has a magnificent view of the neighbouring lands resting on the town's walls, where you can feel the harmony of nature in an idyllic setting. This hotel in Valenca is characterized by its welcoming aspect, with its grand fireplaces which stand out in the drawing room. Guests can visit in Valencia several points of interest such as the church of Santa Maria dos Anjos, the House of Eirado or the Church of Santo Estevao.
