The Castell de la Santa Creu is a fortified place of the Middle Ages, first documented in 1037 and it is located in the old town of Calafell, also of medieval origins. The Castle and its surroundings form an Open Air Archaeological Park which explains through a renewed museography some episodes in the history of the municipality.
