About

The origin of our sparkling wines dates back to the end of the Spanish Civil War, when Ramon Nadal Giró recovered the vineyards that had been expropriated to build an airfield and decided to reorient the family wine distillery business towards the production of sparkling wine. As a result, in 1943 the first bottle of Nadal Brut sparkling wine was released. Eighty years later, our vineyards, cultivated according to the guidelines of organic viticulture, continue to provide us with the fruit of the historic varieties of Penedès region, with which we produce long-aged corpinnats following the artisanal rituals of the méthode champenoise. With the arrival of the new climate reality, in the 1990s we began producing white wines from xarel·lo and the first natural Botrytis sweet wine in Spain.
