Engelsberg Ironworks is considered to be one of the world's most important industrial heritage and is since 1993 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The buildings and most of the technical equipment remains. Waterwheel, crusher, blower and hammers still works and it makes the blast furnace and forge at Engelsberg unique. Today Engelsbergs Ironworks is a museum that offers guided tours.
