About

The VÄNGA MILL, located at the source of the Säveån (a stream) just north of Borås. It contains a living museum of working life with the mill and starch factory from the mid-1800 's. VÄNGA MILL CAFÉ & BAKERY serves Swedish fika (try the cinnamon-bun!) and a selection of lighter food (sandwich, soups, salads etc). Everything is produced in the bakery and café with organic flour from the mill and locally produced greens, dairy, meats and coffee. You can also buy sourdoughbread, buns, cookies and other delicious things to take home. Don’t forget to visit the general store and buy local crafts, flour and local honey. A five minute walk from the café you find Vänga Moss. A beautiful nature scenic where you can take a walk and discover a piece of the swedish nature. (It has a footbridge so a wheelchair or a babystroller is not a problem) Visit us on weekends April-December.
