TEMPORARILY CLOSED Swedish Railway Museum is currently closed for renovation of the exhibitions. During this time you are most welcome to join us for trips with our historical trains, to various destinations.around Sweden. The Train Hall, where the collections are stored, will be opened for display first weekend of each month, from May through September 2018. Swedish Railway Museum is the central institution within Swedish National Maritime Museums which also oversees its three sister museums, the Naval Museum, the Vasa Museum and the Maritime Museum. During the early 1900s, objects began to be collected that were considered to be of historical value for the future. The collections are of international top class and consists of over 300 vehicles from the mid-1800s to the present day. The collections do not only consist of vehicles but also objects, photographs, archives and books. Swedish Railway Museum is currently closed for renovation of the exhibitions.
