Maritiman is a unique maritime museum located on Packhuskajen in central Gothenburg, showcasing a living collection of historic ships, boats, and a fleet of vessels that tell the story of Swedish nautical history. Visitors can walk aboard a range of vessels—from the iconic frigate Sölve 150 years, the submarine Nordkaparen, to the tug Herkules—each preserved in its original condition. The museum offers interactive exhibits, guided tours, a science laboratory for kids, and daily programmes that cater to families, history lovers and solo travelers alike.
