About
Forsakarravinen is a nature reserve on the eastern slope of Linderödsåsen. Here nature is developed freely. The fallen tree trunks and dead trees are a characteristic part of the environment. The ravine was formed when meltwater ran from land ice through Linderödsåsen to the sea. Today the ravine is 40 meters deep and holds two of Skåne's highest waterfalls. The block-rich ravine slopes are dominated by beech. Along the brook grows alder, ash and elm. The humid environment benefits many plants and animals. Do not miss to walk the Degebergaleden, which runs along the Forsakar ravine. Forsakar is a visitor site in Kristianstads Vattenrike Biosphere Reserve.
