Lodose was established in the mid 11th century, and gradually become one of the most important trading ports in medieval Sweden. Lodose Museum is an archaeological museum, housing hundreds of thousands of artefacts. The museum hosts a varied programme of family friendly events. The museum is fully accessible for handicapped visitors. There is free parking and free entrance to the museum!
