Summer 2024 we are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 22nd June to 17th August. Village restaurant in Nittsjö, with a focus on local ingredients and run by married pair Jonathan & Genevieve Bjurenstedt (chef & sommelier). Even the plates are locally made at the Nittsjö Ceramic factory. At lunch we have a picnic theme and do not take bookings. We serve hamburgers made with local ingredients cooked over a woodfired grill. At dinner time we serve a set menu in the greenhouse for which you must book. The first seating is a 3 course which begins at 5pm and finishes at 6:30pm, designed for Dalahalla guests and families with young children (495kr, childrens menu available). The second seating begins at 7:30pm and is a set menu for 795kr. The food is local, seasonal and cooked over open fire. This year we are launching "the pub", an a la carte pub/steakhouse menu served in the the cottage from the 17th century or in the beer garden if the weather allows. Bookings and walk-ins.
