At the opening ceremony of 1904 Slagthuset in Malmö was one of Europe's most modern and most beautiful industrial buildings. Today Slagthuset is one of Malmö's biggest event venue, hosting everything from smaller concert to large conferences and business events. Located only a couple hundred meters from the central station it's also one of the most central venues and very accessible for both visitors and promoters, whether you travel by car or public transport. Slagthuset contains several different venues within, the most popular being Teatern for seated concerts and Saluhallen for standing concerts.
