Welcome to our cosy and nice Gift, Souvenir Shop and Workshop. If you are looking for a wide variety of quality Swedish gifts to take home for yourself or friends and family, DalaShop is ”a step above.” Conveniently located in the heart of Stockholm’s Old Town (Gamla Stan), you will find a welcoming, helpful sales staff eager to provide knowledgeable information about Sweden’s folk culture and history. Our speciality, hand carved and hand painted Dala horses from internationally respected Dalarna workshops are available in a wide selection of colours, styles, and sizes. In addition, Dala Shop features its own staff-produced Dala horses created in our own store. Guests are welcome to watch and discuss as our woodworker creates the handcrafted Dala horses our shop is known for. In addition, customers can paint their own Dalarna horse.
