Since it was completed in 1969, the characteristic church has been a gathering place for local residents. It is built like a basilica where the church room is divided into central and side naves. The church room is almost square and has a chancel facing the courtyard to the south. In the middle of the church hangs a huge chandelier called Christ's Crown of Thorns created by the artist Harald Garmland. It is made of oxidized light metal and colored glass. The church holds 500 people.
