The area stretches just over 10 km along the eastern part of the Scanian south coast. Towards the sea rises a steep cliff coast that rises thirty meters above the plain behind and at Kaseberga is one of the country's most powerful and imaginative ancient monuments, Ales Stenar. Kasebergaasen was built about 15,000 years ago when the latest ice sheet slowly melted.
