In the spectacular alps of the canton of Grisons, the Hotel Raetia lies at an altitude of 1’032 meters above sea level. The village is surrounded by mountains and not far from the health resorts Davos, St. Moritz, Savognin and Lenzerheide. Here you can experience pure nature – in the middle of the Albula Valley and Switzerland’s largest natural park, the Parc Ela. Filisur is the westernmost Engadine street village. You can also find it in the National Inventory of Cultural Property. It is considered one of the best preserved Engadin street villages. Thanks to the bypass road, a stay in the historic village center becomes an experience of a special kind. From Thusis, the RhB (Räthische Bahn) climbs up the Albula Valley through tunnels and via viaducts in the direction of St. Moritz. The harmoniously in the landscape embedded railway track is a showpiece from the time of rail pioneers and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage RhB. Our pizzaiolo will be happy to spoil you with a good pizza, which can also be ordered to take away.
