The rooms of our guest house 'Sonnenhof Preda' are cozy double/single rooms with shower/restroom (or with shared shower/restroom). From our restaurant sun-terrace enjoy good food, fresh mountain air and a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps! After an impressive day's travel Sonnenhof promises a good atmosphere in the heart of nature. Our Guest-house 'Sonnenhof Preda' is a simple, bright chalet with 23 beds / 12 rooms all with running water. The rooms are cozy double/single rooms. From our restaurants sun-terrace enjoy good meals, fresh mountain air and a beautiful view of the mountains adding to relaxation and comfort. The price includes: taxes, breakfast buffet, lounge with small library and games, TV room with home theater (DE / EN), hairdryer, Wi-Fi. Sled and snowshoe rentals are available. We also have a lounge, small library, natural habitats, fire pits and seating throughout the property. In the summer free parking at Sonnenhof. During a few winter months the road is closed as it becomes Switzerland's longest night-lit tobogganing trail - during this time free parking in Berguen, and take the train from Bergun to Preda. The house is reached in about 10 Miunten from the Preda Station. Preda is a wonderful place for nature lovers. At 1,789 meters, you will experience genuine hospitality, cozy kitchen, with our specialities : Raclette and Fondue and more... The Gasthaus Sonnenhof is adjacent to the many hiking trails, meadows, moors, larch and pine forests. Below flows the river Albula and above from our sun terrace you can see the Alvra waterfall when it runs. Preda is the ideal starting point for mountain, ski and snowshoe tours. In the summer it is ideal for biking and exploring journeys by car, for example over the beautiful Albula Pass. From Sonnenhof you can walk to Palpuogna-lake or walk the Rhaetian Railway to experience the spectacular famous Albula valley by train. Our Sonnenhof is in Parc Ela, the largest nature park in Switzerland. Also, here starts the most beautiful illuminated 6km long toboggan of Switzerland! Preda has much to offer. At the Preda train station there is a ticket machine. 100 meters away from the Gasthaus Sonnenhof our Grouphouse Sonnenhof - ideal for groups, business trips, school camps, clubs, nature friends, etc. It has 26/32 beds, stands alone and has a large field (great for sport), kitchen for own cooking, etc. Rents for 400-620 a night depending on the season.
