About

Yvette de Marseille is a beloved bar located in Geneva, Switzerland. Legend says this bar was originally a garage and petrol pump owned by a woman named Yvette. Truth be told, she lived a daring and intriguing life. Feeling experimental one evening amongst good company, she created a drink that was not meant for the fainthearted. Naming it the « Grenade », it became her signature staple. On a chilly September evening, after a few « Grenades » she left her beloved garage and was never seen again... In 2010, the new owner investigated the mysterious cellar and discovered an old tool box. Inside he found Yvette's personal diary filled with crazy stories about her life, her childhood in Marseille and this « Grenade » recipe. To honour the legend, the bar was renamed Yvette de Marseille. Serving classic cocktails, food and good vibes, come discover the mystery behind Yvette de Marseille!
