Sauvabelin Tower is a 35‑meter wooden observation tower perched on the 700‑meter high Sauvabelin forest hill in Lausanne, Switzerland. Constructed by the Association of Friends of the Tower with support from the city’s parks department, it combines local timber construction with panoramic views of the city, Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps. Visitors climb a 302‑step spiral staircase to reach a panoramic platform that offers a 360° observation deck, making it a popular spot for families, nature lovers, photographers, and history enthusiasts alike. The tower is open to the public throughout the year, with seasonal opening hours and a free admission policy.
