The restaurant offers local Ticino and Italian specialities and has an extensive wine list. During the year, the hotel il Castagno di Mugena organises gastronomic events, depending on the season (fish from the Ligurian coast, "Valtellinese" in winter). In summer try our outdoor grills and in autumn we serve local game including venison, and our saddle of venison which is the real speciality of our kitchen. Our pizzeria offers 15 different types of pizza, all baked in a wood-fired oven. Our restaurant can accommodate up to 90 people, while the dining room with a fireplace can accommodate up to 60 people. In summer we serve meals on the covered terrace overlooking the garden. At our café-bar you can enjoy delicious aperitifs or relax with a good coffee and cake.
