About
Domaine des Planards is an alpine destination that offers year‑round activities for the whole family. In winter it hosts a ski area open from December to April, suitable for beginners and located just a five‑minute walk from Chamonix town centre. From April to early November the same area transforms into a lively amusement park with slides, trampolines, carousel and kiddy rides, all accessible with pre‑purchased tokens. A highlight is the Alpine Coaster, a 1,300 m rail track that delivers jumps, turns and 540° spins for riders aged three and up; it operates all season and accommodates two passengers per sled. Visitors can also enjoy a restaurant‑bar overlooking the Mont‑Blanc range, offering traditional Savoyard dishes such as raclette and mountain burger. The venue is open for groups and seminars and offers chalet accommodation in the vicinity.
