About
Perched on the Mont-Blanc to 6725 feet above sea level, with a view overlooking the Mer de Glace and mythical Aiguille des Drus, the Montenvers Refuge is a place of history and authenticity. Built in 1880 to accommodate the first mountaineers and travelers who came to visit the Mer de Glace, this high mountain refuge will agin see new life in 2017 following an extensive renovation. The historical charm of the site, as well as the Refuge spirit seep into the unconscious of each visitor: inviting a place of sharing, simplicity, authenticity and homecoming.
