Chalet Cannelle is unassuming from the outside, but step through the door to be greeted by the magnificent mountain views from inside a 200 year old cowshed that has had a complete renewal. The spacious open plan living area boasting original features and exposed beams is perfectly matched with a comfortable and contemporary interior, uniquely designed and created, much of it by us. Our guests always tell us that they love the calm and quiet surroundings of the chalet. Chalet Cannelle is situated in a secluded and peaceful hamlet overlooking the Abondance valley, in between the alpine villages of Chatel & La Chapelle d'Abondance, both pretty villages with restaurants and activities and not far from the Switzerland border. It is a great location to enjoy two countries and the Portes du Soleil for all the outdoor mountain activities. Each bedroom is unique and has everything you would expect for a luxury stay; fine quality Egyptian cotton bed linen on super comfy beds, sumptuous towels, gorgeous toiletries & bathrobes. The bathrooms have a mix of walk-in showers and baths to suit everyone. Chalet Cannelle is a catered ski chalet in winter and B&B in the summer.
