In the incomparable beauty of the Upper Engadine you find the village of Sils-Maria. It is not just a place with great scenic charm and many possibilities for leisure and culture, it is also the starting point for one of the most beautiful, southern valleys of the Engadine, the Fex Valley. Since the year 1954, the Fex is under protection, public transport into the valley is very limited, new buildings are hardly possible and the horse coaches see to the idyll in the valley. Here you find "on sunny meadow terrace, where the little white chapel of Fex Crasta looks far into a landmark of peace and tranquility, the "Gasthof zur Goldenen Sonne" as it was called in one of our first brochure in 1910. By now it's called Hotel Sonne Fex. Your hosts familiy Witschi-Fumm look after you in the 4th generation.
